FOBECON's core service processes construction drawing sets - principally PDF files containing floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details - submitted by contractors, estimators, and quantity surveyors. The platform analyses those drawing files to produce quantity takeoffs and bills of quantities. This policy describes how we handle personal data in the course of providing that service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account and contact data: name, company name, job title, email address, and phone number you provide when registering or contacting us.
• Construction drawing files: PDF drawing sets you upload to the platform for processing. These files may contain project names, site addresses, architect or engineer names embedded in title blocks, and other project-identifying information.
• Platform usage data: records of drawing sets submitted, takeoff outputs generated, export actions, session timestamps, and feature interactions.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, and pages visited, collected automatically when you use the service.
• Communications: content of emails, support requests, or enquiries you send to us.

We do not collect payment card numbers directly; payment processing is handled by our payment processor under their applicable terms.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the FOBECON quantity takeoff service, including processing uploaded drawing files to generate takeoff and bill-of-quantities output;
• Manage your account, authenticate access, and communicate with you about your subscription;

• Improve the accuracy and capabilities of our drawing analysis system, using aggregate and anonymised usage patterns - not by using the contents of your drawing files to train models without your explicit written consent;

We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not use the specific contents of your uploaded construction drawings to train our AI models without your separate, explicit written consent.

4. Sharing of Information

We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: we engage third-party processors (such as cloud infrastructure providers, analytics services, and payment processors) who access data solely to perform services on our behalf and are bound by written data processing agreements.
• Legal requirements: we may disclose information to authorities or courts where required by applicable South Korean or international law, a court order, or legal process.
• Business transfer: if the Company merges with or is acquired by another entity, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same obligations set out in this policy.

We do not share construction drawing file contents with any third party except service providers who process them on our behalf to deliver the platform's functionality.

We retain account and contact data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to fulfil our legal and contractual obligations. Uploaded drawing files are retained to deliver the service and are deleted upon account closure or upon your request, except where retention is required by law.
